Todd Lindsley
Principal/Founder

Todd has focused his entire career on creating successful fundraising strategies, campaigns, and processes which position nonprofits to thrive and transform their communities. In his 39+ years as a fundraiser, fundraising strategist, and consultant, Todd has served over 250 organizations nationwide, whose combined capital campaign goals exceed $1 billion. Relationship-building is at the heart of his approach to inspiring, coaching, and rallying clients, committees, volunteers, and teams to embrace and enjoy the process of successfully setting, and often surpassing, their fundraising goals.

Todd lives in Lancaster, PA, with his wife Heather (physical therapist), where they have raised their children—Cooper (computer engineer), Greta (business development for an energy company), and Lou (a Junior in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill). They are active in the Lancaster community as professionals, neighbors, donors, and champions for the greater good.

Susan Broomell
Senior partner & consultant

Susan has more than 25 years of experience guiding nonprofits in the strategic visioning and tactical execution of their Planned Giving, Endowment, and Capital Campaigns. A trained CPA (inactive) and MBA degree holder, Susan’s eye for detail, planning, management, and financial acumen provides well-reasoned counsel that clients trust, while her passion for bringing nonprofits and their communities together to develop fresh strategies makes projects more special, memorable, and successful than imagined. She is frequently called upon as a speaker on fundraising topics for non-profit board presentations and professional organizations.

Susan and her husband Mark live in Kirkwood, PA. They are the parents of two adult sons—Sam, a doctoral candidate at Peabody Conservatory, and Thomas, an Army helicopter pilot.

James Alton
Consultant

Jamie has worked in the non-profit sector for 35 years—from large nationally known institutions, such as the National Geographic Society and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, to smaller community organizations, such as the former Lancaster County Historical Society (now LancasterHistory). His diverse experience ranges from fundraising to marketing to project management, from exhibit development to museum administration. Until 2016, he served for nine years as Assistant Director / Development Officer at the North Museum of Nature and Science, raising $3.5 million dollars for the institution’s first capital campaign. Jamie now assists central Pennsylvania’s nonprofit organizations as a consultant.

Jamie specializes in crafting compelling messaging for capital campaigns, and grants he wrote have generated more than $13 million for his clients or employer. He loves getting down in the trenches with clients, becoming part of their team to ensure everything gets accomplished successfully.

Jamie and his wife, Kathy, live in Lancaster, PA. They have two adult children, Matt (married to Lizzie) and Amy (engaged to Dalton, dog mom to Harley), and one adorable grandson, Bruin.

Lisa Side
Communications Consultant

Passionate about finding the right words, images, and media to inspire people, Lisa has built a 30-year career around orchestrating meaningful communications between organizations and their audiences. She has managed the process of creating communication strategies, TV spots, PSAs, social and web content, campaign events, executive speeches, and integrated marketing plans and materials for organizations large and small as both a creative writer and project manager.

Lisa enjoys getting to know our nonprofit clients and their communities, finding the unique hook to connect them, and developing and managing campaign communications that reach their fundraising and brand awareness goals.

Lisa lives in Lancaster, PA, and frequently spends time in Sarasota, Florida, with her extended family. She is proud Mom to her daughter, Sam, a graduate student in Historical Archeology at UMASS Boston.
